Showcase 2026!

Showcase 2026 guitars are an exclusive issue of 9 exotic tonewood models based on standard production guitars, elevated with rare and visually distinctive tonewoods and available for a limited time.  This model features a Torrified Sitka Spruce top and Flatsawn Indian Rosewood back and sides, as well as the NEW LR Baggs HiFi Duet High-Fidelity Pickup and Microphone System!

The Yellow Backstage 2026 a is designed for discerning players who prioritize stage performance, maximum playing comfort, and the most natural amplified tone. The soundboard of the guitar is made of carefully selected and Torriefied Sitka spruce, valued for its clear, balanced tone, strong projection, and wide dynamic range, all further enhanced by our innovative individual soundboard voicing process. The back and sides are crafted from Flatsawn Indian rosewood, a tonewood prized for its deep bass response, rich overtones, and exceptional tonal complexity. Flatsawn woods are cut with the tree's growth rings oriented nearly parallel (at an angle of 0 to 45 degrees) to the widest face of the board. In rosewood, this offers a distinct, dramatic cathedral arch grain pattern on the face and gentle, arching curves on the end grain. Together, these materials produce a full, dynamic sound with warm lows, well-defined mids, and shimmering highs, offering excellent articulation and balance across the entire tonal spectrum. This makes the instrument equally well-suited for strumming, flatpicking, fingerstyle playing, and solo performance.

To ensure outstanding performance on stage, the guitar is equipped with the new LR Baggs HiFi Duet system, delivering a highly natural, studio-quality amplified sound that faithfully captures the instrument’s acoustic character. Combining a pair of lightweight bridge plate sensors with the new Silo Mic microphone, the system provides excellent tonal depth, clarity, responsiveness, and the feedback stability of a tradtional undersaddle element making the Yellow Backstage 2026 a a reliable choice for players who want their amplified sound to remain as close as possible to the guitar’s natural acoustic voice.

The elegant appearance of the Yellow Backstage 2026 a is highlighted by our Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which enhances the resonance of the instrument while offering exceptional surface protection. The instrument also features a green abalone rosette, black and white binding and purfling, an “Eclipse” circular inlay design made of white pearl, and a transparent pickguard, all of which contribute to its sophisticated and refined visual identity.

Playing comfort is further elevated by the Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, carefully integrated into both the top and back plate, significantly reducing arm and rib pressure and ensuring exceptional comfort even during prolonged performances. For improved orientation during live performance, the guitar also features linear position markers on the side of the fretboard, allowing for quick and intuitive navigation across the neck under any lighting conditions.

Bevel Duo for extra comfort
The black Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, comprised of two bevels – one in front, at the forearm and one in the rear, at the rib position, provides a significant increase in player comfort and also enhances the exclusive appearance of the instrument. Built to Play, Engineered to Last With Furch CNR System® Active
The Furch CNR System® Active neck design takes our original CNR System® to the next level, offering unparalleled stability and precision for players who demand consistent performance. This innovative design adapts seamlessly to changes in humidity while maintaining perfect playability, ensuring your guitar feels and plays the way you want it to—every time you pick it up. Featuring a dual-action truss rod encased in a rigid carbon structure, the system is further enhanced by a solid-wood expansion element that automatically adjusts the neck angle to maintain consistent string action over time. It minimizes the need for costly, time-consuming neck resets and eliminates maintenance concerns, giving you the freedom to adjust your setup quickly and easily and allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the joy of playing—because that’s what truly matters.

  • The improved construction connecting the neck bridge to the fingerboard improves neck stability and transfers string tension to the expansion element and tuning screw. Its length and strength ensure optimal neck geometry and excellent playability.
  • The eccentric screw ensures a stable lateral position of the neck.
  • Two-way bracing allows for precise adjustment of neck deflection.
  • The carbon neck brace shell maintains stable neck deflection over long periods of time, even under demanding conditions.
  • The expansion gap allows for natural movement of the wood due to changes in humidity.
  • The solid wood expansion element is the heart of the CNR Active® system. It responds to ambient humidity by expanding or contracting, helping to maintain consistent neck characteristics.
  • The string height adjustment screw allows for fine-tuning of the string height to customize the playability to your preference.

LR Baggs HiFi Duet high-fidelity pickup and microphone system
The Yellow Backstage 2026 a comes equipped with the LR Baggs HiFi Duet system, featuring an all-discrete, soundhole mounted preamp with controls including volume, mix, battery check, and mic level control. Silo employs a new microphone capsule and tuned suspension for enhanced ambience and dimension. With the HiFi Duet, you get the best of both worlds allowing the true voice of your guitar without the constant stress of feedback. It’s built to deliver the rich tone of a studio mic directly to your line-out, so your audience hears your guitar exactly the way you do.
