Harry's, which has been at the same address for nearly 20 years, was cool when the neighborhood wasn't. The owner, Harry Tueting, plays in two bands, and all his sales personnel are musicians. Customers can try out guitars on the store's sound system.

"It's a field of dreams for a guitar player," said Chris Farlow, who moved to Raleigh from San Francisco, where he first heard of the store. "Is this heaven? No, it's Harry's."

Orange has added some new products to the line that most people haven't heard about yet. First is the Tiny Terror Combo. That's right, that awesome head in a 1-12 combo! Next is the AD5. A 5W 1-10 combo with Vol/Tone that was a limited release back in 2001 and so popular that it made it into the Groove Tubes book. Lastly we have a new 2-12 open back cabinet w/V-30 speakers in a smaller footprint. Initially made only for Europe, enough of us (dealers/players) bugged them to release it here.
